WASHINGTON DC – August 11, 2025: The Command Purpose Foundation is pleased to introduce Board Member Monica Pal, a co-founder of BlueOakNx and longtime supporter of veteran women and the intelligence community.
Though not a service member herself, Monica spent years hiring veterans and working closely with government agencies as CEO of a cyber intelligence company. She joined CP to help fill a crucial gap: the space between service and what comes next.
“Command Purpose fills a vital gap at a crucial time for veterans as they transition to civilian life,” she said. “Instead of rushing through any door, it provides veterans with a structured approach to contemplating their true purpose, strategizing optimal paths and stepping forward with confidence, surrounded by a caring community.”
Watching CP grow from an idea to a serious impact – one veteran at a time – has been the most rewarding part of her involvement. As for her dream dinner guest? Margaret Mead—whose words continue to inspire CP’s mission: “Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world, indeed, it is the only thing that ever has.”
