WASHINGTON DC – July 28, 2025: As a former trial attorney in the U.S. Army JAG Corps—which included service in Baghdad—Nancy brings legal and leadership experience to the Command Purpose Board of Directors, along with a deep understanding of the complex transitions faced by veterans.

“Being on the Board at Command Purpose is so important to me because it’s an organization where veterans and allies can experience life transitions in a supportive space of growth and resilience,” she said. “Their flagship program helps veteran leaders rediscover their purpose as they return into civilian life.”

Nancy’s favorite CP memory? The annual retreat—where the team came together to share their journeys and struggles in military transitions with radical honesty and support. “Witnessing the transformation and growth within this trusted community was truly inspiring,” she shared. If she could dine with any historical figure, it would be one of the real women behind Rosie the Riveter, whose iconic image reminds us of the collective strength we all bring to any mission.
