Join Command Purpose for our March book club meeting! The goal of our book club is to read books that address issues facing the veteran women community and discuss how we can navigate through them to become our most authentic selves and align with our purpose in life after the military.
Summary: This book invites you to begin a journey toward greater happiness, regardless of your circumstances. Arthur Brooks, columnist for The Atlantic and professor of classes on happiness at Harvard University, and Oprah Winfrey combine their decades of experience studying happiness to share practical, research-based strategies you can implement to improve your life right now.
Why This Book? Transitions are hard and can make you feel you’ve lost yourself and the things that define your identity. Uncertainty can cause us to feel anxious, stressed, and unhappy. This book will teach you to understand your own unique happiness profile, use the concept of “emotional caffeine” to manage your emotions, focus your efforts on building the four areas of your life that are scientifically proven to matter for happiness, and teach others how to get happier–and increase your own happiness at the same time.
This event will be held virtually on Zoom. If you have any questions or technical difficulties, please email us at info@commandpurpose.org.

The Command Purpose Foundation (CPF) is a values-based organization grounded in trust, respect, and courage; trust through offering a brave space, respect by recognizing each journey and story is unique, and courage to ask ourselves hard questions. By attending a CPF event, I affirm that I will uphold these values and that if I act in a way out of integrity with these values, I may be asked to leave the community and/or event.
