Join Command Purpose for our May book club meeting! The goal of our book club is to read books that address issues facing the veteran women community and discuss how we can navigate through them to become our most authentic selves and align with our purpose in life after the military.
Summary: This book answers the questions “What’s really holding you back from reaching your full potential?”, “Why aren’t you pursuing your dreams?”, and “Why are you sitting on big ideas when they could lead to incredible change?”
The first few chapters address the obstacles that hold women back from playing bigger. The middle chapters offer a mentality shift and a new perspective for looking at things, and the last chapters encourage the reader to leap and follow their calling. You will be introduced to the Inner Critic, the Inner Mentor, learn how to unhook from criticism and take the leap to play bigger in your own life.
Why This Book? Tara Mohr, the author, is a leadership coach who has challenged women to answer the questions referenced above. Over her career, she found that women with tremendous talent, ideas, and aspiration often don’t see their own brilliance. Through her Playing Big Professional Growth Program, she emboldens women across America to find their authentic voice, achieve their goals, and seek more fulfillment in life and work. This book offers proven tools for playing bigger and easy to implement strategies that will enable you to have the impact, influence, and ultimately the life you want.
This event will be held virtually on Zoom. If you have any questions or technical difficulties, please email us at info@commandpurpose.org.
